CARPÉ DIEM TRANSLATES TO SEVERAL MEANINGS, BUT ALL ARE A POSITIVE MESSAGE. THE MOST POPULAR MEANING IS ‘SEIZE THE DAY’ OR ‘PLUCK THE DAY’. WE THINK OF CARPÉ DIEM AS THE ORIGINAL ‘Y.O.L.O.’ TELL THAT TO THE KIDS!
Use, practicality & recyclability
MAKING HONEST EFFORTS. With our selection of packaging, we hope our customers adopt eco-friendly habits by returning glass bottles for reuse, reduce what goes into the waste basket and recycle to-go pieces. While we are not completely zero-waste, we make honest efforts to lessen our carbon footprint. We also donate our juicing pulp to local parks, gardeners, farmers & offer to anyone who is interested in composting.
“The most effective way to reduce waste is to not create it in the first place. Making a new product requires a lot of materials and energy - raw materials must be extracted from the earth, and the product must be fabricated then transported to wherever it will be sold. As a result, reduction and reuse are the most effective ways you can save natural resources, protect the environment and save money.

WHY WE CHOOSE GLASS vs plastic
Our cold pressed juices are bottled in glass. Although BPA-free plastic bottles are widely available and considered safe, we have chosen glass bottles/jars due to the reusability, durability & quality of material. We offer a redemption for each bottle returned to our shop.
When choosing our packaging, we consider use, practicality and the recyclability of to-go containers, utensils, napkins and other items that might come with your order.
